KIDS Wonderland was inaugurated on 9'h January, 1999 by Mr. R. N. Patnaik, Chairman of B. D. Patnaik Charitable Trust. It has been established as a pre-school Kindergarten, by the initiative of Mrs. Neena Patnaik, who has been associated with the management of Kindergarten schools, since her student days. However, she prefers to dedicate her inspiration & enthusiasm to establish this school, to her mother, Mrs. Veena Malik who has devoted much of her life to the cause of education of children.
The school has been planned with the purpose of providing a special pre-school programme for children, with basic facilities essential for overall 'grooming'. It is open to all children, irrespective of caste, creed or social status, and aims to provide education for children between the ages of 2.5 and 5 years.
The main objectives of the school are:
To organise an environment for the exercise & development of mental and physical growth
To prepare pupils to achieve superior academic standards, in order for them to access entry into reputed senior schools
To induce a sense of oneness, sharing & discipline
To impart training on basic etiquette & self conduct
To imbibe certain basic values of life, such as faith in God. respect for elders, etc.
To provide a healthy ambiance & an atmosphere of friendliness, so as to be - a 'wonderland for kids'.
